When God answers, mark it answered and it becomes a stone, kept for everyone who prayed to give thanks for.
What do these stones mean?
When Israel crossed the Jordan, Joshua had twelve stones taken from the riverbed and set up where they camped, so that when their children asked “What do these stones mean?”, they would tell what God had done (Joshua 4). Every answered prayer here becomes a stone like that: something to point to, and to thank God for, years from now.

Is it free?
Yes, it’s free to use today. If Stone Upon Stone grows large, we may one day ask for a small yearly amount to cover running costs. We’d always tell you first.
Is it private?
Yes. Nothing you write is public. A group is private: only the people in it see what’s shared there. There are no ads, and nothing you write is sold.
Who sees my requests?
Only the people you choose. Each time you ask for prayer, you choose who sees it: just you, one of your groups, or people you’re connected with. Only you see how many times your request was prayed for.
How do I share a prayer request with friends?
Start a group and send its invite link, or open People and tap Connect with someone to get your own link. Send it by message or WhatsApp. Once your friends have joined, share your request with the group or with them.
What is a stone?
A stone remembers something God has done. When a prayer is answered, mark it answered and add a few words: everyone who prayed sees it and can praise God with you. You can also set down a stone for something God did in the past.
Do I need an app store?
No. Stone Upon Stone works in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. There’s nothing to download, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
How do I add it to my home screen?
On an iPhone or iPad, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open it in Chrome, tap the menu, then Install app.
Can my church use it?
Yes. A church leader or administrator can start an official church group, which shows a badge and its town so members can find it and ask to join. Home groups can be linked under their church.
How do reminders work?
You choose your reminder times, and how often you pray for each level (Urgent, High or Medium), from several times a day to weekly. Reminders come as a notification or an email, and never say what a prayer is about.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. In Account you can download everything Stone Upon Stone keeps about you, or delete your account. The privacy notice says what is kept and for how long.
